'My Fortune As Told' held its theatrical premiere in Seattle, Washington, on June 02, 2023, then was subsequently selected as a participant in the 2024 Seattle Film Fesitval. In 2025, the film was honored with a thrice-weekly month-long showing on Thurston County Community Access cablecast Channel 22 (out of Olympia, Washington). Consistent with Wallerstein's belief that art should not be made for profit's sake, 'My Fortune As Told' was initially released on Patreon in an effort to defray some of the requisite expense incurred and then, shortly thereafter, was made available to the public at no cost via YouTube.
