'Just A Few Quick Questions' was filmed in Bellingham, Washington, in March of 2026, subsequently completing production on May 8, 2026. At its core, the film is built around a simple but painfully relatable premise: an ordinary job interview spirals into something increasingly absurd and awkward. The short leans into fast-paced comedic tension, sharp timing, and character-driven humor while exploring the social discomfort we all recognize but rarely escape gracefully.

Winner of the July 2026 Atlanta Movie Awards (Best Comedy Short) and Finalist at the 2026 Austin Comedy Film Festival (as well as Semi-Finalist at both the Washington Film Awards and the Austin International Arts Festival) it is currently under consideration by multiple other festivals but will eventually make its way to the public at no cost via YouTube.

'My Fortune As Told' held its theatrical premiere in Seattle, Washington, on June 02, 2023, then was subsequently selected as an official participant in the 2024 Seattle Film Fesitval. This screen adaptatoin of Wallerstein's stage play 'Sideshow' features an ensemble cast from the PNW that delivers skilled and nuanced performances. To quote from the film, "The role we play is part of a larger, all-encompassing script" - the writer / director's underlying message that runs through many of his works.

In 2025, the film was honored with a thrice-weekly month-long showing on Thurston County Community Access cablecast Channel 22 (out of Olympia, Washington). Consistent with Wallerstein's belief that art should not be made for profit's sake, 'My Fortune As Told' was initially released on Patreon in an effort to defray some of the requisite expense incurred and then, shortly thereafter, was made available to the public at no cost via YouTube.
